John Larry Compton, DVM

Dr. John Compton completed his Bachelor of Science at Delta State University in 1973 and went on to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. Dr. Compton has been involved in veterinary medicine for over 40 years and enjoys all areas of clinical practice. Dr. Compton is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. John Compton is happily married to Dotsy, and they have two grown children, Loxley and Maggie, as well as 3 grandsons, Emory, Wilder, and Beckett. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family. Dr. Compton is a member of Annunciation Catholic Parish in Monroeville.
